Sometimes, we doubt our ourselves. We doubt that God can use us. We doubt He can use our families. We doubt He can take our dollar and stretch it to two. We doubt that we have room in our lives, in our homes, and in our families for God’s miracles.
We’re thrilled to say that sometimes God takes that doubt, and reminds us that if we let Him take control, He can and will do wonderful things.
A month ago we asked you to consider opening your home to a child for the summer. We waited, wondering just how many children would have the chance to have a family this summer. One? Two? Three… ten? Would fifteen be a dream of a number?
We’ve just found out that the number is not fifteen. Or ten. Or three, or two. Or only one… But over forty!
This summer, over forty children will come to America through the efforts of Circle of Friends. They will sleep in warm beds, take hikes through the park, go swimming, attend church and camp. They will bow their heads over grace at dinner time, and will be hugged, kissed, and encouraged to live up to their God-given potential. And hopefully, many of them will finally find their forever-families.
We have one last request… would you take the time to pray for these children this summer?
